RECOMMEND A CHARITY. Don't see a favorite charity on the list? Charities must apply annually to be included in the CFC Charity List; the next local application period is mid-February to mid-March, 2009. Let your favorite organization know about CFC and have them contact Wink Newcomb at wnewcomb@communitysharesmn.org or at 651-647-6491 to get on our notification list.

UPDATE! The Thermometer has been primed and will now start to show progress in red  - so let's get those pledges in and send it to the top!

Check your agency's progress by clicking on the Online Pledging Results under Pledge Online on the menu bar. These totals include both online pledges and the paper pledges received to date.

For the 2008 campaign, we held a contest among Federal employees to design a graphic to go with the theme, "You Make the Difference".

Kathy Kohns of USDA Farm Service Agency in St. Paul submitted the winning entry.

Kathy is a Price Support Program Specialist and has been a CFC Coordinator for her office for several years.

This design will be the cover of the 2008 CFC brochure and will be available as a poster for your offices.

Hurricanes Gustav and Ike Relief
Although the official kickoff for the 2008 Northern Lights CFC is set for October 1, the campaign is providing a way for Federal donors to begin contributing through the Northern Lights CFC, beginning immediately, to the CFC organizations identified by FEMA as providing disaster relief to those affected by these hurricanes. Click here for the FEMA listing.

Use the Northern Lights CFC pledge form to make this one-time cash/check donation. Forward to Northern Lights CFC, 1619 Dayton Ave, Ste. 323, St. Paul MN 55104
